Guy Hornsby is a London based House DJ and Producer. Like many DJs, he cut his clubbing teeth in the corners of some classic house nights, at university in Sheffield back in 93 at the likes of Love to Be, Rise, Subway, and Republic. Though he moved back to London in 97, he was a late developer digitally.

Despite the electronic epiphany back in the mid 90s, he didn't put needle to vinyl until late '99, and began promoting and DJing for London night Wildchild the next year, an association that would take in Heaven, Hanover Grand, Propaganda, SEOne and The Coronet, and lasted until 2005, when he finally decided that he needed to concentrate my energies on production.

He's been lucky enough to play at many of the capital's best venues, at the Gallery at Turnmills, The End, Neighbourhood, Ministry of Sound, The Rhythm Factory, Heaven, and The Fridge, and enjoyed gigs with Garlands and Judgement Sundays at Eden and Kissdafunk at El Divino in the last three summers in Ibiza, as well as playing most of the sunset strip. 2007 took him as far afield as Bahrain and Valencia, and UK highlights included Manchester's Sankeys and the Warehouse in Leeds, and trips to Dublin to play at Space Camp.

He now runs Drop-1N in his native London, a raucous monthly pub rave and an antidote to today's corporate oversaturated clubs.

Guy also moonlights as a journo, on www.4clubbers.net, concentrating on London's scene, as well as writing most house music reviews and interviews and features, including recent ones on Anja Schneider, Marc Romboy and Pete Gooding, and also for Ibiza Voice.

2006 saw him produce his first track, Downshift, following another summer of inspriation in Ibiza. It was signed by Devore Recordings in February 2007, and was released in December. The follow up, Undertow has also been signed to Greek label Drag n' Drop, released in March 08, and a recent remix on Devore was out in April. He continues to spend his waking hours plotting the next chapter....
