What’s your earliest ‘musical’ memory?
I grew up with Italian dance music due to my older brother's success as a DJ/producer in the early 90's. Then my music has grown and has been refined over the years, while I compared myself with the industry professionals and I developed my own distinctive style.

What was it that drove you to get into the music industry?
I started producing music when I was a kid following in my older brother’s footsteps, therefore he has been the first to influence me and incline me toward this fantastic world.

Who have been the most influential people in your musical development?
Definitely my uncle who collected more than 5000 vinyls in the 80's of all kind of music from jazz and blues, to rock and electronica.

Who inspires you outside of music?
It’s easy to find inspiration to make music, ranging from the melodious chirping of a bird to the ferrous rhythmic sessions of a construction site. Everything influences me and… life turns into sound!

What are the biggest three challenges facing you at this moment in time?
1. Make the best of Lucio Malatoid project
2. South American Tour
3. Create a mega recording studio where I could produce the next singles with increasing care, expertise and quality.

What is the best event you’ve appeared at and why?
There are two places that made an impression on my heart: Ck Family at “Egg London”, which I don’t think needs any introduction or flattery, and The ‘Indie Summer Festival “Infestazioni Soniche”. This is held every year in Vieste / Gargano ( Italy ) with its spectacular venue, the amazing line up and the free entry as the cherry on top! I STRONGLY recommend it to everyone.

If you could collaborate with ANYONE in the world (past or present) who would it be and why?
My dream is to collaborate with Stephan Bodzin. Do you really want to know why?? Go to listen to his sound.

If you weren’t in the music game, what game would you be playing?
I would be a pizzaman because the pizza has the same shape of the vinyl (ahah)

Who gives you the most support in your life and work?
I am still waiting for somebody who is going to give me support in life and work....

If you only had 3 months to live, what would you want to do with them?
I would ask myself what would I be doing if I really have 3 months left?
I would make a list and then begin doing what is on my list.

Any messages for our readers?
Remember to say to yourself with great frequency: “Whatever happens as a result of my decisions... I'LL HANDLE IT! And you definitely will!

And remember to listen to Malatoid Sound every month.
