What’s your earliest ‘musical’ memory?
I think it was when I was 10 and I heard the first album of Metallica ‘Kill’em All’. It’s at this moment that I knew that I will devote my life to music … Then my tastes changed with the years but it’s the music that changed my life and gave me the envy to make music.

What was it that drove you to get into the music industry?
I don’t know really, I was a guitar player and singer in a band since I was 14, then later a DJ & promoter and naturally I became a producer.

Who have been the most influential people in your musical development?
Definitely my friends from my childhood to now. I’ve been into a lot of styles (Rock, New Wave, Metal, Pop, Jazz, House, Techno, Trip Hop) but I made my musical culture and my influences with them while we were growing together, and was evolving and discovering different types of music.

Who inspires you outside of music?
My everyday life and all the different things I see everyday. All the emotions I feel and all the places I have visited. My wife and my friends, my dog and my neighbours. Pretty much everything and nothing.

What are the biggest three challenges facing you at this moment in time?
First of all, it’s certainly to develop this new project, which is very personal one with Geil. To make what I have in mind at the present moment without to be worried of what people will think because it’s different of what I usually make. The second challenge is to manage my personal life with my 3 different musical projects, which are making me very busy … The third is to pushing up my 3 labels to be always more and more successful.

What is the best event you’ve appeared at and why?
It was at the World Music Day last year in Montpellier, my city. It was very pleasant to see 20 000 crazy people dancing in the centre of my own city on the music I love. It was like an accomplishment, after all these years that we spent to fight against the French government to make them accept that House and Techno are very popular and not only reserved to junkies as they were thinking. I was very happy and it was something very special!

If you could collaborate with ANYONE in the world (past or present) who would it be and why?
Without hesitations my choices would be Depeche Mode and Maceo Plex because Depeche Mode made my childhood and I still follow them after 20 years. It is certainly the most influential band of my career. Maceo Plex because in my mind he’s definitely the guy who gave something totally fresh to Techno and House Music, and he’s my favourite producer.

Who gives you the most support in your life and work?
My girlfriend and my Grandmother.

If you only had 3 months to live, what would you want to do with them?
I think I would try to enter a zoo and I would free as many of the animals as I could (sorry for all the panic in town ahahah:)) I also will see all my friends and will get drunk with each one and tell them how I love them because often I think because of a lack of time, I forget to say it. Of course, I will also travel the most I can with my girlfriend; especially in the countries where I could meet animals I usually can’t see.
