Sudha dives into an array of odd, experimental and somewhat disconcerting electro tracks. Angelic female vocals on Inside Out are both beautiful and cold, creating an ethereal effect. Saiko uses fun electro beats to reflects the delight of an excited Japanese girl drummer. Sudhas Asian roots emerge in Living By Numbers which samples a British-Asian news reporter with traditional Indian vocals and an electro twist. Old school GameBoy computer blips and chords make for some classy and quirky modern electro in Makes Me Wonder. And is that a bit of Barry White-esque vocal in the intro there? By now Im ready to expect anything.
Still Walking alters the tone with a summery laid back piece with relaxing female voice and sampled tyres over gravel, but still manages to be faintly disconcerting with some breathy baritone male vocal. And I have to mention Golden Light which sounds like 90s boy band 5ive got themselves trapped on a space ship.
Bizarre and innovative, theres something avant-garde and quirky about this artist. Sudha creates a unique brand of science-fiction electro, injected with a little fun and an eccentric sense of humour.
